Minutes from everything, at an important address in the heart of Toronto at Bay and Dundas Sts., One City Hall is a landmark project that revitalized an important city quadrant. It has also received top reviews from Toronto’s architecture critics. The Toronto Star’s Christopher Hume commented:
“This sleek, retro-modernist structure is one of the most engaging condos to appear on the skyline in some time.”
The development has rejuvenated and given coherence to the community just north of Toronto’s City Hall. With generous retail spaces at street level, One City Hall features a dramatically linear exterior, high quality materials and well-proportioned built form. Amenities include a swimming pool, open-air rooftop garden, private dining rooms, a party room, guest suites, exercise rooms and 24 hour concierge.
This was one of the largest residential buildings built in Toronto at the time and yet it fits within the context appropriately. Retail was cultivated to not only serve the residents but also the neighbourhood.
This project was taken from land purchase to re-zoning, marketing and sales, financing, construction to after sales service and selecting property management.
